Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and verify fuel pressure, should be 30-40 psi (generally)

if coil pack fail. first of all all 4 or 6 coil dont fail together. so car should start up with the symptom of engine missing power or lack of engine power.

Fuel pump can be access by removing rear seats and check the voltage on the connector attached to pump to start with..

Why does the car turn over but doesn't start?

There are numerous reasons for a no start situation. The most common are lack of fuel and lack of spark to the spark plugs. You need to have someone diagnose what is missing and have it repaired. Could be a fuel pump/filter/wiring/crank sensor/ignition coil/ missing power supply/ etc

Losuing over drive lack of power hard starting must hold pedal to the floor

Does it start better after sitting overnight? Is it missing at all? Check engine light? Hard starting could be fuel pump, also lack of power could be lack of fuel. If it starts better after sitting overnight, could be block catalytic converter. That would also explain lack of power. If you have to hold gas pedal half way down trying to get speed would explain why it is not going into overdrive. Hope this gives you some direction.

My 95 7.3 turbo runs and idels good no miss but something is holdeing it back when u push the gas I have changed the fule filter and air

Here is what my Haynes Diesel Engine Repair Manual says for a noticeable lack of power, which is what you are describing.
1. Blocked air intake
2.Incorrectly adjusted timing
3.Blocked or damaged exhaust system
4.Obstruction in fuel filter
5.Blocked fuel tank vacuum vent in fuel cap
6.Insufficient fuel supply from tank to injector pump
7.Obstruction in fuel tank filter
8. Pinched or restricted fuel return line
9. Incorrect or contaminated fuel
10.External compression leaks ( glow plugs or injectors)
11. Obstruction in injector nozzles
12.Low compression
This book has an excellent diagnosis and repair section for your engine. It's Haynes part #10330 and costs about $20. Hope this helps.

Lack of power in gas pedal

Check fuel pressure and see if its around 30-35 psi while under load if not replace fuel pump, also the gas thats in the tank may be no good if it has sat for so long..

Would the fuel pump be located in the tank and therefore mean taking the tank off? and do u think is should help with the low power (missing)?

If the car is running fine but just has a lack of power it could verywell be something else. The pump by the way since somewhere in the 80's has been put inside the gas tank. The rule of thumb is that should it leak it will leak in the tank and not out in the street. Some cars have a hatch in the back or under the rear seats where you can access the fuel pump. Most cars however you have to remove the tank. Have the fuel pressure checked as well as change the fuel filter before replacing the pump.
