Just changed my real tyre, but to realise the size is wrong can it be the couse of asc light to blink?

    Yes, it could be. Was the old tyre replaced because it was worn, or did it blow out?
    If it blew out, it is possible that the wheel speed sensor was damaged. My son drove too fast with tyre chains (cables) and destroyed both of the sensors on his Honda, cut the cables that ran to them. A blown tyre could do the same thing.
    What is the tyre size on the other three wheels, and what is the tyre size of the replacement?

Noise coming from the rear of the car as result of changed rear tyres.

Did you fit tyres of the same size as were removed, if not tyre could be rubbing on inner guard or suspension.
Did you use the same rims as you removed, if not the rim offset may be wrong and rubbing on the brake or suspension.
Remove wheels and look for rub marks.

What other size tires can used for my lesabre

basically there is an optimum tyre that fits the rim but a tyre narrower that rim size will make the side walls sit up straight and will wear on the outside of the tread and a tyre that is larger will balloon the side walls and will wear the centre of the tread. If you want to go up in rim size then the rim width will be the same but you will have to select a lower profile for each size you go up. The tyre shops will be able to advise you as to what exactly is good and what is wrong if you make a bad selection

Can I switch from a 1957514 tire to a 1957014?

Yes you can but expect an error in speedo reading as you are decreasing the circumference of the tyre meaning it turns faster to cover the same distance.. The 195 is the rim width The 75 is the profile height of the side wall and the 14 is the rim diameter in inches So smaller profile size ==lower car= wrong speedo reading. You can use this information to change the rims IE go to 15 inch rims so the tyre reading would look like this 195 35 15 would be about the same as 195 95 14. By lowering the profile size you can go up in rim dia size and still retain the same speedo readings and car height.. Talk to a tyre shop to get the idea.

What size tyres camaro 1997 3800rs v6

The wheels could have been changed on the car from the standard original factory set and hence the tyre size may not be the standard factory original size.
The size of the tyres on the vehicle now is moulded into the side wall of the tyres and is easy to read.
Check all 4 tyres because larger size tyres may have been fitted as a pair to the rear.

The size might read - for example 245 45 18 or 235 45 17 (there are a huge number of sizes for each model of tyre).

The first 3 numbers are the width of the tyres in mm eg 225 mmm or 235 mm and so on. The second 2 numbers are the tyre profile size or ratio (which can be 70 65 60 55 50 45 40 and so on. The third number is the wheel diameter size. If you have 18 inch wheels on the car the tyres will read 18 or if they are 17 inch wheels the tyres will read 17 and so on.

Location of the asc module on 1997 bmw

Sorry for the non-answer, but it occurs to me that the reason that I don't know where the module is located is because I have never heard of one failing.
Common failures in the ASC system include different sized tires or physical damage to the speed sensors at the wheels, or to their leads (this generally causes both the ASC and ABS lights to illuminate). Another common problem is failure of the ASC throttle body or actuator. Make sure that the hose clamp screw on the throttle body rubber boot is not interfering with the motion of the arm on the ASC throttle. That screw has to be on the side of the boot, not on top.

What rim size for a 215/55/16 tyre? I currently have all 4 tyres on as-supplied alloy wheels, each December I change my fronts for winter tyres, for which the tyre shop make a charge. I am thinking about...

16 is the rim size and most modern ones will take 215 tyre. Of more concern is the PCD (which dictates how holes line up) would suggest a trip to a breakers and get 4 from any VW Passat (or other) of similar age

Wheel help!

225 = Tyre width
50 = Tyre Height
17 = Size of the wheel without tyres on.

You can go up a size to 18's and I'd suggest 225/40R18 TO GIVE YA A LITTLE EXTRA GRIP BUT THE COMFORT WILL SUFFER A BIT.

Hope this helps.
