Question about 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
WEll, I think that you cannot be sure there is nothing wrong with the parts.
sounds like three issues, to me.
You MUST pull the codes and address what the codes indicate.
Your car uses a crash sensor in the front, center, under radiator.... This suffers from water penitration in the connector. Replacement comes with new harness, also. Easy change.
The check engine light, many things are possible here, again, it is the codes that direct you as to what to do. Throttle position sensor, essentially like a volume control, wears out and the system cannot calculate correctly and has to fatten up or go into limp mode...
The low fuel deal sounds like a sending unit, in the tank. It is so hard to get at, it is just replaced, but it is pricey....
Fuses have nothing to do with your issues.
