Ask your local auto parts store, they can look it up. It may depend on your specific engine, the 2003 Honda Accord used a chain on the 4 cylinder but a belt on the V6.
The belt should (usually) be replaced every 60000 miles (100000 km), while the chain should last the life of the engine (150000+ miles).
On many engines, if the belt breaks, it can cause expensive damage to the valves and/or pistons, so you want to make sure you replace it as scheduled.

93 toyota p.u. wont start i have spark fuel how do i check for sliped or broaken timing chain

what happened when it went from running to not? Pretty sure you have a timing belt, not chain, and its behind the fan motor and all those belts, behind the black plastic housing. You have to remove all of your hoses and fan blade, then housing bolts, to see if its your timing belt.

2006 93 has it got a timing belt or a chain

It's a belt:
Location SAAB 9-7x timing belt is located under timing belt cover. This cover is at the front of the engine and is behind the accessory drive belts that drive the power steering pump, alternator and a/c compressor.

For the L6-256ci 4.2L F/I Vin S the part number should be 6K905AP
For the V8-325ci 5.3L F/I Vin M the part number should be 4K365AP

Does My 93 Camry have a timing chain or Belt ? when to change it?

its timing belt. This car requires the timing belt to be serviced at every 60k miles. This engine is a non-interference motor, so the engine will not get damaged internally if belt breaks. But other parts externally can become damaged. Also at the same time the timing belt is changed, replace the water pump, idler and tensioner pulleys.

Im putting timing chain on my 93 chevy s10 pickup 4.3 and there are gears behind the timing chain what do I do

first thing i would do is make sure your timing marks are lined up before removing the chain and gears,,,turn it over by hand till they line up then remove the bolts in the cam and pull off the cam gear and chain,,you will probably need to use a prybar to get the bottom gear off,,,line up your timing marks and istall the new gears and chain

My 93 Maxima cut out while driving on the

Might be a timing issue. Have your timing chain/belt checked. If not that, definitely a fuel issue.

Replacing a timing belt 93 325i

Richard, a 93 BMW 325i has timing chain and not a belt. Unless it has been absolutely neglected in terms of oil changes, the chain should last 2-300k miles
