This could be a sign that the torque converter is starting to fail. A torque converter does pretty much for an automatic transmission what a clutch does for a standard transmission. When either fails, when coming to a stop, the engine will die. For more on a torque converter and its functions, please go here

Battery will stay charged

Have the battery charged and tested and then test the charging system. You should never run a car with a very dead battery. that will burn out the alternator.

My 1993 buick century stalls when i stop at a light or stop sign after i restart it it backfires multiple time before i can gain speed

I have a feeling your fuel pump is on its way out...but start by changing your fuel filter first, should be under $20....ie..not enough fuel getting through..

Changed the heater core on a 1993 buick century and now it wont start

I need Moe info. Does it turn over? Does it try to start, but just not for? The core is in close proximity to some wiring that is essential to the start sequence and if cut or otherwise disconnected would allow the engine to turn over but not fire.

I have a 99 buick century 3.1 and it jumped time so i replaced the timing chain( and yes i lined the dots up on the gears) and while i was at it the crankshaft and camshaft sensor but it still wont start!...

3.1 i belive is an interferance engine
if it jump timming you would have valve damage that could make it hard start
to no start deppending on damaged to valve train
best to remove all sparkplugs and take a compression test on each cylinders

I have a 1999 buick century with a 3.1 engine stop running while driving, ran codes came back with crank sensor, multiply cylinder misfire changed crank sensor, cleared codes, will start, but idles very rough...

Did you replace the crank sensor that is in the engine block between the engine and transmission? it has two and the one by the pulley hardly ever goes bad.
