Eh , We have a S400L CDI . It won't go out of Safe-Mode (Can't get more then 3000 RPM and the engine start's making a strange sound) . On the dashboard display it say somthing with Triptron Problems, We have connected it to a Engine test and nothing seems to be wrong . It might be the Radar if you have one on the car.

When disconnecting your battery you need to hook up an alternative power supply . Vehicles with the electronics there have now a days . Something's need to be relearned an some of the modules may not wake back up at all , unless hooked up to a factory scan tool . Battery Disconnect or Replacement Problems

Alternator/Electrical??

check the connection on your battery terminal ends. if they are loose or corroded that could explain the intermittent no spark. also could be a short somewhere but id check the terminals first. I had that problem once and the car did all sorts of weird things. airbag light, check engine light, randomly wouldnt start until i would mess with the battery.

Battery loosing charge in a few hours

you have a "dead short" in your primary electrical system it sounds like to me. I would clean all connections starting at the battery and the positive cable to the starter and put a tester on your harness to your ignition to see if there is a strong enough connection. Good luck!

no. I'd suggest to disconnect a battery for 15 mins, reconnect, wait for 5 mins and try to restart. If it doesn't help (sometimes there's a program block to prevent stealing equipment) call a dealer

Electronic handbrake will not release Jaguar S Type 2004

Common problem - normally caused by low battery voltage. Disconnect battery for 10 mins (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR RADIO CODE) reconnect battery - then follow instructions on dashboard to reset park/brake. Use this method for all p/brake faults as 95% of the time it resets them. Hope this helps - good luck.
