As a general rule of thumb, 2 oz of oil per componet that you replace

I am doing a full evacuation and recharger on a 1995 buick lesabre and I need to know how much compressor oil and the viscosity of the replacement oil Can anyone help?

r-134, 39 oz of freon, pag 150 oil, 8 oz oil, now that is the capacity for a new compressor and systen cleaned, or you need to drain yours old compressor and add half to the compressor and half into the accumalator/drier to have the correct oil amount in the system.

1995 buick lesabre limited, oil gauge issue

Could be two things, your oil pump pick tube is clog, oil pan would have to be drop to check, or your camshaft bearing worn causing low oil pressure,I would not say piston rod bearing or main bearing, cause there's no knock noise. You will have better oil pressure when cold due to oil much thicker. so I would forget about a bad oil pump.

I have a 1995 Buick Lesabre 3800 6 cyl. and I am wondering if I can bypass the ac compressor with a smaller belt and what size belt would work. I do know you can get a pulley to go into the place of the...

Just had this exact same problem with my car. Sears Automotive said that it may just be simpler to get a smaller belt and bypass the compressor. Talked to someone at another store and they suggested the same thing instead of spending a ton of money to replace the compressor. So in short, yes and that is confirmed by two mechanics.

How much ac compressor oil is needed in a 1997 Buick Lesabre?

Hello.

The best way to know how much oil is needed is to first drain the old compressor. If the old compressor has more that 2oz, add the amount that came out of the old compressor. If less than 2oz, add only 2oz.
