I have a Ford Winstar the problem is that when I'm running on the highway over 60 mph or 65 turns on the light of the over / drive which can be the problem anyone can help with this problem

I'm not sure but this is worth a try after all this will cost you about $10 to $13 only and easy to identify and fix yourself. the OSS or Overdrive Shaft Sensor may be defective. You can find this at the left end of the transmission or if you can remove your left wheel, you can see this sensor screwed on with 8mm hex bolt just behind the engine mount bar or bracket, no other wired thing there except his one.

If the above will not fix your problem, this is already an early warning that your third or fourth gear is wearing out, thereby you need your transmission rebuilt. but before rebuilding, a computer transmission check can pen point this this verdict. Good Luck.

Overdrive light flashes

By the sounds of it that could be the solenoid that operates the overdrive that has malfunctioned or there's a bad earth or a broken fuse - its electrical though that's for sure -- you may need to see a mechanic for that one unless your good at diy :)
Hope you get it going :)

Overdrive wont engage and the O/D light blinks

if the overdrive light is blinking then there is a problem with the TCM transmission control module. if you have access to a scanner, pull the codes, that will lead you on the path to what is wrong. if you dont you will have to take it for service.

Overdrive light on gear shifter is blinking?

The overdrive light blinking indicates a code has been stored in you computers transmission control module, the cost will depend on the problem, some have had problems with the torque convertor clutch slipping, could be more major, get the code pulled out and I can provide you with a more complete answer. -Jared

Speed sensor and overdrive

OVERDRIVE ENGAGEMENT IS TIED TO THE SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL, THE SYSTEM WILL NOT GO INTO OD UNTIL THE CAR REACHES A CERTAIN SPEED, IN MOST CASES AROUND 35-40 MPH, THE SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL TELLS THE ECU WHEN THE CORRECT SPEED HAS BEEN REACHED.
