Not all radiators have drain plugs, if it does, it is on the inside bottom, just a petcock valve. Most of the time you just pull the hose and dump into a pan or flat bucket. Hope this helps.

Here is what your drain plug looks like it is located right above the lower radiator hose
also if you look at the pict of the radiator you will see it right above the lower hose

lower lefthand side of rad note when i say left or right it is always as if your in the driverseat thats how most mechanics tell you left or right anyway bottom of radtheresa little valve ussually looks like a wing nut this is the drain valve it drains slow though

Where's the drain plug on radiator?


Coolant drain plug is below where the inlet hose (the big one on top) goes to the radiator on the very bottom pointing down!
The metal lines are on this side as well...

some models have a plug not a p ****,you my have to take off the lower raditor hose to flush.

Drain radiator where is plug to drain


At the bottom of the drivers side tank near the steering gear box.

The drain **** should be located on the bottom section of the radiator. It can be on actual bottom or on engine side of lower section.

The later models do not have a drain ****. The manual says to remove the lower radiator hose at the radiator. Nice touch, GM!

Draining the radiator on my 98 gmc 2500 truck


You have to disconnect the bottom tube to the radiator. Be sure if you have antifreeze in it you drain into a bucket because its sweet to bugs and the bugs will be there in an hour if you dont.
