Try revving the engine while stopped--does it still work? You can do from engine compartment by rotating throttle while looking at compressor. suspect your compressor is kicking off at higher revs. Possibly bad compressor clutch

What is wrong with my car when it jerks in drive

jerks when?

moving the shift lever. with hand?

moving car. in gear, name the gear, drive, L or reverse?

jerks from, 1 to 2nd gear, 2nd to 3? or ? (or when IT down shifts)

pretend we are blind (we are) and cant drive car,(hopeless) and

tell us exactly what works and dont work driving.

hot /cold engine, fast /slow/ accelerating/ decelerating, up hills and what gears.

if engine is hot, is your idle at 800 RPM parked, in park.

y/s

if not the idle controls are out of control and when you shift to drive

IT will jerk. this is an engine problem.

there are lots of other symptoms.

Leaking antifreeze

Yes, it is leaking whilst running. You need to locate the source of the leak. Do not drive the car until the leak is repaired as you may overheat and damage the engine.

I have a 2000 Chevy Cavalier... I replaced rotors pads and calliper accros the front end... Whe I start to drive the brakes seem to be perfect but the more I have to use the brakes the tighter the peddle...

To me it seems like the brakes are heating up, after you drive for half an hour touch the wheel rims and see if they are hot and if they are hot then either you have the wrong rotors or wrong pads in.

more than car is worth , running or not.
nice tortture(sic) test,
learn to respect expensive complex transmissions.
and win.
IMO
who, get it fixed and stop driving it, you are only making it worse.

4 wheel drive wont engage to front end drive shaft is turning and actuator is moving

acuator at transfer case or at frt diff if acuator is moving then axles to wheels should be turning and you may have a hub locking problem. if axles to wheels dont turn then the acuator tofront diff is no good not strong enough or bent shaft on acuator, some of these use a small shaft in front of actuator also make sure if this truck use this shaft check it for wear, lift truck remove actuator push inside arm in see if wheels spin turn frt shaft while holding arm in wheel should turn is they do, replace actuator, if they dont turn then diff problem,

When i turn the key to turn on only the lights and power work car

check the starter solenoid or the starter! You can run a jumper cable from the hot only on the battery to the starter and touch the hot bolt on the starter soleniod and if it dont turn over then the starter or soleniod is out. Put a bold into the end of the jumper cable so you can touch the starter easier!

Rear end locked up

you will probably find damage in the differential. remove cover and inspect.on one of the bolts there should be a metal tag with numbers on it .dont lose. you will need to order gear set.
