Question about 1993 Mazda MPV
I think it used to use DOT3 fluid - however, these specs are updated every now and then and it's likely that you can't even purchase the original fluid specified anymore. Any fluid post-dating that specified should be fine.

You can use either DOT 3 or DOT4. Doesn't matter which. DOT 4 supersedes DOT 3 which means it meets the same requirements as DOT 3 and then some;)
