Question about 1998 GMC Jimmy
Hi! This can be a PCM (powertrain control module) failure. The PCM has connectivity on all electrical current that runs inside the car which includes the engine and transmission. If the PCM is faulty something else fails. I strongly suggest that you have your PCM resetted to resolve the problem. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!
