My dodge durango makes alot of squeaky noise when i drive. what could be the problom?

It needs a wheel bearing its also possible that its causing thd ABS problem. Regards Jim...

Don't know about this one but some front axles are two piece and have a support bearing between the transmission and wheel

I you have freewheel hubs the fault is there.

your transmission is in safe mode this will need to be scand to see where the problom is in the transmission

most likely on these is the ball joint

using one person to bounce on the front end, use something like penetrating oil to squirt on suspet components

Thank you for getting back to me. I would like you to check your transmission fluid. start the engine and let it warm up at idle speed for about 15 min and check the fluid. It sounds like you do not have enough in it, there for the whining noise with increase of speed since your transmission is speeding up with the rate of your vehicle. If this does not help and the problem persist please let me know. If the noise you were hearing was coming from the u joints of the vehicle it would not make a whining noise with increase of speed. The u joints will only make a noise when they are going bad when the vehicle is shifted into any gear from the shifter( EX: park to drive, park to reverse ECT.)

might check the bearings to see if properly greased

If its a lite squeel and goes away when brakes are applied. Have you had front brakes put on recently. If you have and the rotors were not replaced and turned. Alot of mechanics don't do the final cross hatching on the rotors when they are done turning. This will barke in the pads wrong and cause this even with expensive pads. It will cause premature glazing and have a squeel that will drive you crazy.

sounds like the drive belt or the compressor motor drive shaft or bearings need to be lubricated... hope this helped...

Try hooking up a mechanical gauge to make sure you have a problem.
