You can just follow the line up to the master cylinder. It go's behind the gas tank and it is hard to find. And it is fastened to the fram. If it is leaking it is best to just get new one from autoparts store. Straight one. And slide it beside of where it go's into the frame and hook it up. If you need the brakes diagram then.

I hope this helps.

I need to replace the brakeline that feeds the rear brakes on a 1990 ford ranger

If you are referring to the metal lines, they have to made from bulk straight tubing. It's not too difficult if you have a small tubing bender and a flaring tool for the ends. Most auto repair shops can make them. MansParts

No Brake pedal

This would mean the fluid is gone or the Master cylinder is bad and not pushing the fluid. You will probably see wet areas where the brakelines or Calipers have leaked the fluid. Since all the lines corrode at the same rate, the rest of the brakelines will fail too. Look under the vehicle for signs of fluid leaks.

This could be 1 of 2 Things. Either the Transmission needs Service REALLY Badly or you have a Tooth Broken off of the Gears in the Rear End.
