Question about Ford Tempo

I put on a new solenoid on a 1993 ford tempo and the wire was crossed. Help me to wire it right.

Use a Tester and Identifie each wire end to end then Put color tape to help to identified the ignition goes to Solenoid then solenoid to starter then Starter to battery Check Diode Proterction betwen solenoid and inition Fuse CAUTION FOR HAIR BAG FUSE PROTECTION may Cause Serious injury ...Good Luck

Installed new starter solenoid, when battery is reconnected the starter spins. Disconnected key starter, thinking it was the problem but met negative results


You probably have wires crossing or you put the the wires on wrong. If there wasnt a problem with the ignition before the starter install there shouldnt be a problem now. Hope I helped

DESCRIBE HOW TO REMOVE A STARTER FROM A 93 FORD TEMPO


First disconnect the battery. After that, find the starter (should be bottom right). Remove the wires from the starter making sure you remember where they go. Remove the two bolts that hold it in place (one on top, one on bottom). Reverse all of this to put the new one in.

WHAT ARE THE RIGHT WIRES THAT GO TO THE SOLINOID


are we talking starter motor solenoid here? if so both are positive the one from the starter motor goes to the lower the one from the battery goes to the top but it does'nt really matter as there job is only to energise he solenoid
