Have you tried replacing the battery in the fob? Or used the second fob?

Good Evening, a cost effective solution (free) is available at most of your local parts stores where they will check your battery and charging system for free (Which is where i would start) As far as your fob I would try replacing the batteries since some gm's have 2 in there and see how that works. Hope this helps, been there before and its not fun.
Thanks,
Joey

How to bypass or reset alarm on 96 chev silverado i dont have door key and clicker not working

Is the key fob battery good? I would change the battery first and if you go to an Interstate Batteries store with it they will probably swap it out for you - most are CR2032 batteries. Have them check the old battery to see if it is dead before you replace it, but a fresh battery is a good place to start.

Car alarm preventing car from starting

Try removing the alarm system relay, some car alarm has also a fuse on the alarm that you can remove.
Many car alarms unlock by inserting and turning car key while you connect the battery.

How do I reset my aftermarket alarm it's a viper alarm model 7284V the battery died in the key fob so I took them out and the buttons got pushed so it decoded itself And my wife some how got the alarm

Put new batteries into the fob.
Switch the ignition on and off several times.

Then leave the ignition switched on for 5 minutes.

The fob may well reprogram itself

How do I drive my car if the remote alarm/keyless entry keychain fob no longer turns off the alarm?

The dealer usually has a contractor that deals with remote entry systems on scheduled days. Most places like carmax do too for about $75-100. Try carmax first. I'll bet you'll save money.

Alarm wont set 2008 jeep commander

the car came with 2 RKE FOBs
are both dead.?
alway have 3 FOB if not you can not reprogram a new one. self.
can cost you $300 for more to tow your car to the dealer if the 1 fob dies. never run one fob. or bad happens.
put in a new battery in the FOB for door issues
the transponder part does not use the battery .
the transponder must be good, or the car would never run.
the jeep cuts fuel after 2 seconds if the transponder fails.

Car sat for six months. Battery went dead and replaced with new one. Got it started after new battery, now it won't start, the alarm led is either flashing bright or very dim flashing fast. I'm sure that...

When alarm goes off,put key in ignition and turn, the alarm should go off and alarm should be reset.Or,remove positive battery cable, wait 10 minutes, reconnect, when you open door, alarm will sound, insert key in ignition and turn key and alarm should go off and alarm should be reset.
