If it were my car , I would first be sure that there are no vacuum leaks anywhere on the engine . Also I would check to be sure that all of my vacuum hoses our OK . No cracks , collapsed hoses , or sharp bends in any of the hoses that might inhibit the vacuum flow in the hose . Take your time and check every single hose . If the vacuum system is OK regarding all of the vacuum lines , then I would go ahead and replace the coolant temperature sensor (it sends temperature data to the computer, or ECM). Be careful not to misunderstand me . There is a sensor and also a sender . You have a coolant temperature sender that is part of your temperature gauge or your temperature light circuit . That is not the one I am referring to . So be sure and tell your parts retailer that you need the coolant temperature sensor for the computer (ECM)
As you mentioned that you had no trouble codes , be sure to check the vacuum hoses and connections first , and repair as necessary . If you do find some bad hoses or connections and repair them , take the car for a test drive and see if you have the same problem . If you do , then go ahead and replace the sensor I mentioned above . Good luck .

Good Evening. As we all know computers are not always perfect, which is a sad truth. First off Idle air control sensor (will make your idle go up in the morning for cold idle, and when your drive and stop normally). Second I would say white smoke is usually moisture, which depending on how much of it could be normal with age if minimal. An idle air problem could make for other problems and would be where I would start first. Hope that helps, and anything else let me know.
Thanks,
Joey

how cheap it would have been just to run the fault codes first and fix only what was necessary
run the fault codes now and see what you missed

I have check engine light on 93 lexus es300 code 52

There is no code 52 but you might mean is P0520. or just 520. This indicates your oil pressure sensor / switch circuit is malfunctioning. It's not something that's urgent but will adversely affect your gas mileage. I would replace it as soon as you can. It's a $40. part. Good luck! Karl

93 Lexus es300 white smoke coming from exhaust

White smoke indicates oil is getting into the combustion chamber either by worn piston rings or worn valve guides.
A compression test on all cyclinders can determine if the pistion rings are worn, The garage mechanic can carry out this test for you.
replacing piston rings is a major engine overhaul, other worn parts should be replaces at this time too. A refurbish engine swap may be a cheaper option unless you are can DIY.

I have a 2000 lexus es300 and my check engine light and trac off light is on and my engine is not running very well, it sounds like it's in a strain at about 60mph

Get the check engine light scanned by a mechanic. (Some parts store will do this for free, but you may not get a good answer!) This may lead you to the issue with the running problem. Start there.

When I start my 2003 ES300 smoke comes out the exhaust

The same thing happened to my 2003 ES300 - the smoke is coming from the oil seeping into the motor's cylinders. This is the classic "Oil Gelling" problem in Toyota and Lexus vehicles. There is a factory recall on it, but it only covers to 2002 ES300 not 2003. The Lexus dealer confirmed my "oil gel" problem and went to bat for me with Lexus - they got the repair approved - Thank you Mr Local Lexus Dealer! The cost was nearly $4,000 - paid for by Lexus.

Check engine light on in 93 Lexus

The only way to check why the check engine light is on is to have autozone or a mechanic put a scanner on the car and read the engine codes. This will tell you exactly what is wrong. Many part stores will test it for free. Mechanics will charge about $40 But you will definately know exactly what the problem is.

If gauge is fine and car smells hot. It is probably due to plugged exhaust unless you have a wire laying on the exhaust manifold and it's melting.

Cold start missfire

could be a cold start issue. there is a water temp sensor near the thermostat. when you start your engine first for the day it will show the engine to be cold and therefore the computer will do a 'cold start', meaning using more fuel. but this should throw a computer code. if you are not getting any codes from the computer then check for a vacuum leak. like the EGR vacuum line for starters. the egr should be closed when the engine is cold and open as the engine warms up.
