If the oil life moniter was correctly reset when the last time the oil was changed then as the car is driven and miles and time count up the life of the oil is being counted down as the oil gets dirty and needs to be changed again, 0% and it's time to change the oil and 100% it's just been changed and your good to go. number of cold starts miles of stop and go and not st much highway miles fully warmed up. The easy things like fully warmed up and not under high load are easier on the oil than ideling in stop and go traffic and then even worse many short trips not allowing the engine to fully warmerup these things make the moniter of the oil life count down quicker.

What does the percentage mean regarding my oil

oil life. 100% means you just changed oil. 0% means the oil is worn. the computer tells you when to change oil based on hours run speed acceleration and engine temp. Id change mine when it says 10% because at 0% the oil is toast. when you change the oil you need to reset the cluster so it reads 100% most lube places do this for you. if not read the manual it tells you how to reset

Oil Light is on need to Reset it. Don't have manaual.

Do you mean the "Oil" light or the "Oil Life System" light?
.
If the oil light is on, you need to stop operating the engine and have it checked to find out why the light is telling you that there is no oil pressure.

If you mean the Oil Life light, Then here are the instructions:

How to Reset the CHANGE ENGINE OIL Message

1. With the ignition key in RUN but the engine off,

fully push and release the accelerator pedal slowly

three times within five seconds.

2. Turn the key to OFF.

If the CHANGE ENGINE OIL message comes

back on, the engine oil life monitor has not reset.
