1993 ford taurus will not come out of park, brake lights won't come on even with new fuse

You likely have a broken wiring harness at the brake light switch connector under the dash above the brake pedal. You can buy a replacement stub harness from Ford parts.

I have a 2000 ford taurus and i have no reverse lights.I changed the bulbs and checked the fuse. The brake lights and tail lights work.my high mount brake light does not work.

The reverse lights work off the manual lever position switch..When you open the hood look on the driver side right over the transmission,..Youll see where the shifter linkage hook up..Right on the linkage on the transmission is a sensor which moves when you select different gear..

I cannot shift out of park. My foot is on the brake, but the shifter will not move

You have a park brake release solenoid not working, there are several ways different car manufacturers have for manually releasing. But I would first locate the fuse panel usually on a newer Ford it's on the side of the dash with a popout cover that says pull, check your fuses if the fuse is blown replace it once if it works from then on ok, but if it blows out again right away you will need to locate the short to ground keeping in mind that it could be the solenoid drawing too much current.

2000 Ford Taurus. My dash lights, my tail lights are out. All fuses have been checked.

This is not a problem with the fuses. Mine did the same thing and what I had to do was replace the whole electrical system that went to this parts. A bit pricey but well worth it considering the fine you can get from faulty vehicle equipment.
