I am asking about the inside house lights and fridge dc power. has nothing to do with low batteries. There are 3 and they are all reg. about 12.57. I checked all 12 volt breakers and fuses. I will go back and check the grounds tomorrow. Does this power loss have anything to do with the converter? I was guessing no because it is dc power from batteries to dc appliances inside rig house.

Thank you for your suggestions. But I think ya missed the mark. I am talking about an RV with two house batteries and one motor battery. The house lights and fridge will not work if I am not hooked up to electric power in RV park. The rig does have a converter for ac to dc also an inverter for dc to ac power. The 460 ford motor will start good and run off the motor battery but I am not getting any power out of the house batteries . the power level on the batteries of all batteries is about 12.57. Thank you

The power interter only runs tv. The lights are dc bulbs and have nothing to do with the inverter. This is inside the rig and we use them for light when we are not using shore power or gen. just want to run small lights while boondocking. this is the part that will not work. if we want to watch tv while boondocking we plug the tv into the inverter. and then we can power the tv off the house batteries through the inverter. Is there two interverters? if there is I have no idea where it is and I have been from one end to the other on this 36 foot rig. Thank you for trying. if you think of something else please let me know.

On a 1997 pontiac sunfire what happens when the gen voltage sensor fuse is missing from the black box under the hood?

Yes ,it certainly does have to do with the alternator. This is the connection from the battery votage to the regulator. The regulator needs to know what the battery voltage is doing so as to optomise the charge rate from the alternator.

Blower Fan doesn't operate normally

No, it must be the ground for the blower motor, if you have power to the fan. Like this: you ground a voltmeter and find battery voltage on the red wire. Now move the ground lead to the ground wire, positive lead on red wire. If ground is good, meter will register voltage. If no ground, no register of the meter. Double check your ground.

Opel Vectra B model 1997 Gl 5d 1.6 wont fire up

Ok..for starters have you checked to make sure your getting fire to the plugs? Need to pull a plug wire off and check to make sure. If your getting fire then your problem lies in the fuel delivery system...if not then it would be in the ignition system...have you checked ALL of your fuses? Make sure that your fuel filter isn't plugged, and on the fuel rail you'll find a small port with schrader valve (similar to that on the tire)..you can turn the key to the run position and then push in on valve to see if your getting fuel to the rail..once you narrow it down to fuel delivery or ignition problems we can further narrow it down.

Our motorhome battery that runs the house section drains within 2 hrs of use. it seems to drain the main battery which runs the motor as well. what can we do so this will last longer? we would liekt o run...

Your motorhome should have a converter in it. It takes 120 volts from the shore power hookup and converts it to 12 volts to run your heater and coach lights as well as recharging the house battery. You should make sure it is working properly. You should also have the house battery tested to make sure it's good. The engine battery should not connected to the house battery when the key is off. If it is there is a wiring or relay problem.

to remove the motor you must remove the regulator assembly,4 short bolts and 4 nuts hold it on,i would test the motor first, you can test with ohm meter first if its not open or shorted try running wire from the battery to connectorone way up swap wire then it should move down, try this before you open a can of worms good luck!

1997 s-10 blazer wont start check battery and is good

YOU have a dead battery for sure. Before you spend any money on a battery get the vehicle running with a boost. If after a boost it doesn't stay running your alternator is shot, battery may still be good if it never froze. If vehicle stays running replace your battery.
