Question about Ford Fusion

1 Answer

Just change the bulb for the front left blinker on my wifes Fusion. Still no blinker. The rear works and front and rear work on passenger side. Could it be the relay, or is it something in the computer?

It sounds more like wiring or a loose plug to it.Does the light work when the hazards are on?The relay would affect them all not just 1 light. If it also doesn't work with the hazards, you need to just turn the wires to the connectors and right at the connector in circles with the blinker on and see if it comes back at all. Please let me know if anything turns up or not and we'll see what else we can do.Good luck! Changed multi function switch, bulbs, and passenger side rear light assembly (reverse, blinker, brake light). Everything works except the rear passenger side turn signal but the front passenger side is...

You have a bad connection at the rear passenger side turn signal. It is either the connection is corroded or a wire is loose on the ground side of the circuit.

Blinkers

You can check your blinker relay located in the fuse box. You should have 2 of them. 1 is for the emergency blinkers. Trade them to see if this corrects the problem. The other issue could be the multi switch is not functioning properly all the time.

Rear blinker does not work need to access bulb

Your rear bulb is burnt out if you say the front one is working .. the speed up of flashing means your bulb is bad.. you might have to get in the trunk and unscrrew those hand wing nuts and push that tail light outward to get to the bulbs ... thanks Jerry and holler if you need more.

Fast Blinker

Usually a fast turn signal means that there is a light out. You should probably check all of your lights, including back-up lights, and turn signals. If there is one out then replacing the burnt out bulb should fix the problem.
