Have an auto electrician look at it.

I had the same problem just last week. It turned out to be the idle regulator. Every time the IR got hot it would blow the fuse. You can drive the car without it attached but get it fixed asap. Got one for $40 from a spare parts place ($200 brand new) and my mechanic mate changed it for me (looked easy enough to do it yourself). Good luck.

St191 30 amp am2 circuit keeps blowing

I suspect you have a short somewhere between the ignition switch and the instrument panel fuse block. Here is what you can do. Unplug the igntion switch connector. Remove the ST fuse and the IGN fuse. Connect a test light to the POSITIVE side of the battery, Probe pin 3, black with white wire and pin 4, red wire at the ignition switch connector. If the test light illuminates that wire is shorted to ground somewhere between the switch and the fuse block.

My 2000 Toyota Camry am2 fuse blows when I turn ignition on

If the IGN fuse is not also burned, likely there is a shorted ignition coil or grounded ignition coil power wire. If the IGN fuse is burned then look for a possible shorted light bulb

New starter and battery, and no power on a 2003 Toyota Corolla

I am not familer with this exact car but 2 things to look for, Many of the Jap cars have a main fuses. usually located near the battery, ina small fues box there will be a wire that attaches to the positive batt cable that goes to this little fues box It usually powers the IGN circut which powers the starting circut. .. on Americsan cars they use a fuseable link which is a piece of wire that burns out when a live positive wire is shorted out. in place of burning the whole wiring harness. its easy to see this problem since the wire will be burnet in half..

Being that this happened tells me that you have a short probably at or near the starter.that is blowing the fuse or burning the fuseable link. Look for this short or it will just burn out the fuse again.

2000 160i GLE toyota corolla non start, keeps on blowing big black fuse in interior fuse box

You have a short circuit somewhere, if you could check the fuse box fuse description, it should give a number and amperage and in your manual it may give a list of devices protected from that fuse..
you may need to remove each device from the circuit to find out which one is shorted.

as close as I could tell, there is a short in one of the wires. the voltage should be 12 volts,. good luck and if the fuse keeps blowing, it has a short in curcuit, wire might be bare and touching metal and grounding out. good luck toolman, try and check voltage at wire and check the connector and see if it is ok! its hard to really say with out looking at it , but check for ground. hello,I will try and help you with this problem.Check the battery and connections. The battery might have enough volts, but no amps, and this would cause your problem. You may have to have it load tested too find this out. Also the alternator needs to be checked to see if it is charging correctly. If all this is good, check the neutral safety switch. If I can be of service, let me know.roniecon@gmail.com
