They share the engine wiring harness from the computer (called the PCM) and a common ground circuit, which is referred to as the signal return. So I think you need to look for a defective ground.

Hi i have a 04 reg mazda premacy 2.0 turbo diesel wich does'nt start it is showing 5 fault codes p0110 iat sensor circuit p0180 fuel temp circuit p0216 injection timing control circuit p1189 pump speed...

P0100 OBD-II Trouble Code

Technical Description

Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Malfunction

Basically this means that there's a problem with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or circuit.

You will likely not notice any serious driving problems, but there may be symptoms like a general decrease in power or sluggishness.
Causes

A code P0100 may mean one or more of the following:

* The MAF may be disconnected, or a wiring connection may be bad.
* The MAF sensor may be faulty.

Possible Solutions

Use an OBD II Reader (or go tou your local parts store and they will for free) and reset the code and see if it comes back.
Then start with the cheapest, easiest repair procedures:

* Check the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring/harness is connected properly and that there are no broken / frayed wires.
* Unplug and reconnect the MAF wiring harness a few times to clear the contacts.
* Check the voltage of the MAF sensor (refer to a repair manual for vehicle specific information).
* Replace the MAF sensor.

Can't locate IAT sensor on 04 fx35

Well first of, what are you looking for the AIT?

But anyways, the AIT should be in the MAF Sensor. Hence all the wires.
OK so i havent taken apart a MAF sensor and neither should you, its a pricey item.

But I do know this; An AIT is an NTC sensor meaning that when tempurature goes resistance goes down and when resistance goes down Voltage goes up. Now one thing you can do is find a wiring diagram of the maf sensor and the vehicles computer. And on there it will show you which wire goes to the AIT.

Any Other question? Just ask me.

2004 mazda mpv geting fault code p0 174 .what should the problem be???

It means that you've got a too lean (too much oxygen) condition in the exhaust. It may only be a dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor. Are you running an "oiled-type"air filter such as a K&N? This can contribute to a dirty MAF sensor. HERE is a diagram to help you out. Good luck.
