The blade should be facing in the direction to pull air in and over the engine. You should have some tell tale sign on the base that will give an indication of how it was mounted before removal, such as bolt or flange marks.

Let's pretend you are an object. If you always saw the exposed side of the pictured fan, would you be the radiator, or would you be the engine.

How do i find the transmission fluid dip stick on a 2001 honda passport?

There is no dipstick. The engine and transmission was designed by Isuzu up till 2002, and the automatic transmission was a sealed, no-maint. transmission. You will either need to purchase the special tools needed, or...........that's right, go to a transmission shop!!!

2001 Honda Passport/Isuzu Rodeo a/c not getting cold, fan in grill not turning, there is plenty of freon and inside controls/fan working fine. Is there a fuse for the other fan?

Yes there is a fuse for the other fan, generally inside the engine bay as apposed to inside the vehicle. I would think it is more likely to be the clutch on your compressor unit that is not engaging when you press the AC button. In this case the fuse on the AC button is responsible and this is also found inside the engine bay. Check either of these fuses and you should get the AC working. If not then there may be insufficient pressure in your AC system or your compressor unit needs changing out.

I can not find the thermostat in a 2001 honda passport

it should be found at the end of one of the radiator hoses towards the engine. If you are referring to the thermostat aircon it should be under the dashboard towards the passenger side.

Overheating

If you have seen the signs of leakage around the water pump thn its worth replacing it being that far already.
Its better too, to flush the radiator.
Usually if the seal blows thts the end of the pump even if it looks ok!

1996 honda passport defrost has stopped working

The directional door or actuator thereof is inoperative. This door moves when you choose a vent at the selector, and directs the air to the desired vent(s.) When the actuator goes bad, loses vaccuum, or an electric door motor fails, the air will go to a default position that is usually the defrost. Since you are stuck at the dash vent position, closer inspection at the door itself is required. Could be a stuck door or actuator; or less likely, a faulty controller. Good luck, let me know if you need more info. THanks, TT
