Remove the trim from around the outside of the radio. There are 4 small black screws that hold the radio in. Remove the 4 screws and the radio will unplug. The trim feels like you are going to break it, but it has spring loaded clips that hold it on. Just be sure that you pop one corner at a time out. And it shouldn't break. You have to be gental but firm.

Where is the cam shaft sensor on a 1993 buick lesebre custom

Hi, on the 1993 Buick Lesabre the crankshaft sensor is located under the dampener pulley. Remove the serpentine belt. Remove right front wheel. Remove plastic access cover thats behind that wheel. With an impact wrench remove dampener pulley bolt. With an Dampener pulley puller remove pulley. There is a plastic cover that snaps in place over the sensor, remove it, and you will have access to the sensor.

How do i get radio out

Can I suggest you check out my "tip" write-up on how to remove the dash face... this is the pre-step to getting at the radio to remove it...

http://www.fixya.com/cars/r3847009-early_90s_lesabre_dash_face_removal

After the dash is removed there should be only 2 screws on either side of the radio, and then it can just slip out.... still attached to the wiring harness though.

I hope that works for you, and get back to me if you're still having issues with it - I've worked on my sisters lesabre many times like this.

Diagram to change fan belt on 1993 buick lesabre

the "serp" belt is self-adjusted by a spring loaded tensioner pulley. the proper size wrench or a 3/8" square drive inserted in the tensioner and rotated will release the tension to allow the belt to come off. reverse order to install. DRAW A PICTURE OF THE ROUTING OF THE BELT AROUND THE PULLEYS BEFORE REMOVING CURRENT BELT!!
