This system uses 4 oxygen sensors. 1 on each exhaust manifold, 1 prior to the catalytic converter, 1 after the cat. It depends on the code gathered and the problem at hand. Let me know and I can advise accordingly.

How to replace a 2000 ford expedition oxygen sensor

You need a special socket for oxygen sensors from any store. There are total 4 two on one side and the two on the other side (Driver n Passenger) Try to put some WD40 so that you are not break the exhaust pipe otherwise more money. Try first the driver sides and than passenger one. The one on the passenger side under the hood is very hard i also cant get it it needs to take off the whole exhaust line I guess. I am still trying to remove that one

I have a 1997 ford expedition with a 5.4 liter and i just hooked it up 2 a trouble shooter and it gave me the codes 1131 and 1132 and I need 2 no what those codes r please..

P1131 Lack Of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO 2 S 11) Switch, Sensor Indicates Lean (Bank #1)
P1132 Lack Of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO 2 S 11) Switch, Sensor Indicates Rich (Bank#1)

Check connector and wiring on your sensor. Upstream bank 1 sensor is on passenger side at the bottom of the exhaust manifold. If it looks good, the sensor may have failed internally.

I have a 07 f150 4.6L V8 and I need to replace the Bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor but cant figure out which sensor it is since there are 4 sensors. Where can I find a picture of the location?

Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S)- The Bank 1 Sensor 1 tells me that it's an upstream O2 sensor. The larger the number the further down the line of the exhaust it is. Removal & Installation 4.2L Engine ford-04-42-2750.gif
To Remove:
  1. Raise and safely support vehicle.
  2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
  3. Detach electrical connector from right inner fender splash shield (if necessary).
  4. Remove right inner fender splash shield (if necessary).
  5. Disconnect heated oxygen sensor electrical connector.
  6. Remove heated oxygen sensor.
To Install:
  1. Apply anti-seize lubricant to heated oxygen sensor threads.
  2. Install heated oxygen sensor. Torque to: 34 ft-lbs (46 Nm)
  3. Connect heated oxygen sensor electrical connector.
  4. Install right inner fender splash shield (if necessary).
  5. Attach electrical connector to right inner fender splash shield (if necessary).
  6. Connect battery ground cable.
  7. Lower vehicle.

Truck codes p1132 and p1152

Hi,

P1132 = Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Rich - Bank No. 1
P1152 = Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Rich - Bank No. 2

It sounds to me like the oxygen sensors (between the engine and catalytic converters) should be replaced. Good luck!

Misfiring

An O2 sensor will not cause a miss, period. I would think the problem may lie with the #3 coil, or the wiring to it. What are the trouble code(s), give me those and I can be more helpful
