I have a 1996 nissan pickup truck my horn does not work relay is good and so are the fuses

The horn button makes ground to operate the relay. If you hear the relay clicking but the horn doesn't sound, then the horn itself is faulty. If you don't hear the relay click, then the horn button in the steering wheel or the wiring going to it is suspect.

1987 toyota pickup horn problems

My 1987 pickup has a broken horn too. I looked into it and think I know the reason. The steering wheel has a little pin that rubs up on a metal disk, and this pin and disk are what supply the battery voltage to the horn button on the steering wheel. I can see a small gap between the two. The pin appears to have been worn away just enough that it doesn't make contact anymore. If I shove a piece of metal into the gap my horn will work. I need to replace the pin.

Most vehicles have a horn relay, which should be in a fuse box under the hood. Toyota is usually pretty good at identifying the various relays and fuses in the fuse box. If your original horn was shorted, it very well could have welded the contacts in the horn relay together. Also an aftermarket horn could be drawing more amperage than an original equipment unit, causing the fuse to burn. This last statement is purely conjecture.

Renault Kangoo, horn not working, have checked wiring and tested it, also fuse ok. Please advise if the horn feeds through the ECU unit?

Horns are pretty simple units and don't need to feed through the ECU.
When you say you have checked the wiring and tested it, do you mean the wiring at the horns? or the wiring at the horn button on the steering wheel pad or where ever your horn button is located?
Sometimes the horn button breaks usually due to wear, If that is the case you will need to remove the horn pad or button and check/repair or replace. If this is working then most likely your horns are dead, not usual as they are fairly robust but not unheard of.

Where is the horn relay located on the 1988 Toyota pick-up?

Toyota does not use a relay for horn operation. Power to the horn is provided by the 15 amp Haz-Horn fuse. The horn operation is controlled by ground through the horn switch (button) on the steering wheel.
