Its mounted on the same bracket as the ignition coil.

The regulator located inside the plastic intake plenum? There is no hose. They just work off the vacuum present inside there.

Need to know location of ecmon my 1996 chevy c1500 with a vortec 350


It is located under the hood on the drivers side right next to the fender. It's between the Fender and the Brake Control module. It's called the Vehicle Control Module (VCM) in this diagram.

I have a 99 chevy 2500 van with a 350 in it. It


Start with the simple and check the fuse to the ECM. It may have blown and the crank shaft sensor wire harness which is located on the passenger side of the harmonic balance. The other thing also would be a problem with the passlock system if the van is equipped with one. Try turning the ignition key to the on position for 10 min then try starting the engine. I have a 1998 chev z71 350 Vortec with a blown transmission (push button 4x4) Can i take the transmission out of a 1997 gmc sierra 5.7 liter (Not vortec) (manual shift 4x4) and stick it in my 1998?


Yea as long as they are both manual transmissions everything will bolt up the same.If you use your old transfer case you will still have push button.

This deffinently sounds like your ignition module, it is located on the side of the distributor generally hald on by two screws. This is a very common thing with Chevy / GMC. Good luck and remember to rate all the solutions that you get, thanx.
