Replace the pressure shift solenoid A, the one for the first gear - in your case they no longer close so the clutch on the first gear slips and you have no traction at start. You will have to drop the pan to access it.

With all those codes, it sounds like you may have damaged the wiring harness/connections. I'd start there first and check for voltage, ground, etc. I'm assuming that make any test to you need to confirm that the speed sensors aren't damaged, then confirm that a scan tool will communicate with the module and that the TCM relay is powering up.

Code P0751 refer to the Shift Solenoid A Performance or Stuck Off.

The code P0700 is described Transmission Control System Malfunction. Basically what that means is that a malfunction has been detected in the transmission and associated components. There is good news and bad news. The good news is it might be covered under warranty. You didn't say if your vehicle is still under warranty, be aware that you may still have warranty coverage on this since your car is just 3 years old. The bad news is that the P0700 code really means that there are transmission-specific codes that you can't access with a regular code reader. There is a part called a TCM - transmission control module that works in a similar way to your PCM. The TCM handles the transmission electrical "stuff" and it stores further transmission codes.

If you want to pursue the issue yourself, you'll need to get your hands on a higher end code reader, or take it to the dealer or a transmission shop to get the actual transmission trouble codes read. Personally we recommend you get a shop to read those codes for you. The other codes are communication codes, we recommend you clear those codes after you fix the P0700 code and see if they come back, they could be related to the "main" transmission issue. The other good news is the fix for this may just be a software update that the dealer can do.

Hope this helps, good luck.

If crank sensor was replaced it should be ok it only tell witch two cylinders are up. The cam sensor tell witch cylinder is at tdc to fire. Check for fuel and spark , if both present check map/maf sensors tp sensor then ecm/pcm.

2005 Dodge RAM 1500 Quad Cab; 5.7 Hemi: Trouble codes: P1521 Transmission Engaged at High Throttle Angle P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction P0750 Shift Solenoid A Malfunction Truck feels...

P1521 - VRIS Solenoid 1 I have replaced the VRIS (Variable resonance idle solenoid 1).
P0750 - Shift Solenoid A malfunction
There is more than one solenoid in the valve body and to make sure he is replacing the right one. I will say that with an electrical malfunction code---it's usually the wiring or the solenoid----so not a real bad choice. Come to think of it I think there will be 4 solenoids---A,B,EPC and TCC. So he needs to find out which one is the bad one before he goes replacing.

Good luck

What does these codes mean P1781, P0731, P1784 AND P0700 AND HOW DO I FIX THEM.

p1781 is manufacturer control transmission, p0731 is gear 1 ratio incorrect, p1784 is manufacturer control transmission, p0700 is trans, control system malfunction. all of these codes refer to tranny. This code normally points to a faulty transmission control module, but this is an expensive part and you should have an experienced Dodge technician diagnose the problem first. or a transmission specialist. the other codes are probably associated with the p0700 code. have a good day !

It seems you have a internal transmission problem, I suggest you have your transmission inspected by a reputable transmission shop.

Try changing oil and filter. Also change speed / shift sensor if the oil and filter change doesn't do anything.
