Most in tank pumps deliver generic pressure of between 60-90 psi. the pressure needed for specific models is set and kept by the fuel pressure regulator located in the gas supply line up near the intake manifold (maybe with a vacuum line running to it), usually in the 18-45 psi range. your local auto parts store can give you your specific information, as can the parts desk person at your local dealership.

2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Car does not like to start right away. Have to pump the gas if it has been sitting for awhile. If it's been running and is turned off, it will turn on again right away. Just...

You're probably right about the injectors. You probably have one or two leaking into the cylinder wich bleeds off the pressure in the fuel rail. You shouldn't have to pump the gas though. Try turning the ignition on and off two or three times to prime the fuel lines and it should start up. However, I would look into finding out which ones are leaking and get them replaced. Hope this helps

My 2000 Oldsmobile intrigue wont start it was hard 2 start 4 months and now it wont start

If it is not cranking, you must check for battery voltage, if it is cranking you must check for ignition (spark) and verify fuel pressure and fuel delivery to the cylinders.

My car takes at least 3 cranks to start. I had it tuned up and had the fuel injectors tested. The fuel injectors were fine and the fuel pump pressure is fine.

3 times rings a bell, thinking cam sensor,so timing is wrong ,1out of 3 seems to be what they do.
Have to get it on a read out tho,(scanner) Your shop should have one

Motor turns over no start. going down the road and died.checked fuel pump.I can hear it and feel it run its ok. and checked fuses there ok

With these new cars, with the multiport fuel injection systems. The line pressure is over 33psi. You have to test the line pressure to make sure it isn't the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator.
You will need to verify that the car is getting good spark to the plugs and fuel to the cylinders. If there are any other symptoms let me know.

2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue with unique starting problems

A common cause for this, asuming no check engine light, is a leaking fuel ressure regulator. When they fail, they leak fuel into the vacuum line causing a very rich condition- basically flooded.
