no plug wires on this model, individual coils hook direct to plug. have since found #2 swaped coil and plugs with #4 and problem is still with #2 so i was thinking injector. how do you get the injector out of this model? do you have to pull the entire fuel rail or can you pull it up enought to get that injector out?

Hi! I provided a link to guide you where the 2nd cylinder is from the distributor to the engine. Just follow the plug wire from the distributor to the engine. From the bottom right side the 2nd plug wire is the number two cylinder right after the six. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Please click here

You will need to pull out the injector rail to let go of the injector.

Code 300 is a random miss not serious enough to peg a cylinder, code 302 is for cylinder 2 and code 304 is cylinder 4. Code 402 is for an EGR flow problem.
Its possible the EGR problem is causing the missfires. The computer sets the 300 codes when RPM drops on a cylinder. The computer does not know why. So it could be spark, fuel, compression, or a vac leak.

I have missfire in #4 cylinder 2000 doge neon

I'm not sure that is a valid trouble code for your car. The code for Dodge is for a wastegate solenoid which is normally used on turbo engines.
The miss could be ignition, fuel, or something mechanical.

I have a 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE About a week ago the check engine light came on, it started running rough, especially at idle. Computer diagnostic results showed missfire in cylinder 6. I replaced...

i would definately replace the coil. pretty certain that will solve your problem. do not drive with misfire or that can cause fruther damage such as catalyst failing, which is prety expensive.

Tham@look.caOver heating-runs rough at start up-sets code ...missfire #2 cylinder.

Either the fuel injector is blocked or not functional on #2 cylinder, or the coil pack is not firing the spark plug there.

Check coolant level and if thermostat is stuck closed and if the fan is not running for the radiator.

Rough idling goes dead when u put it in gear r

This could be a engine missfire, a tune up may be required. You will need to have the computer tested to determine which cylinder may be causing the missfire then testing on that particular cylinder could be performed.

you may try your rotor button and distributor cap. and spark plug wires. try your map sensor also they tend to cause a lot of misfiring if they go bad.hope this helps.
