How to replace electric fuel pump in 2002 impala ls

Hello!
You put down the back seat and lift open the trunk lid for fresh air. Raise the carpet off the inside of the trunk close to the back seat. You should see a trap door. Lift it and there is your fuel tank and pump!!!

Drivers side heated seat does not work

I would imagine that if you only felt the extreme heat in two specific spots on the seat, the element may have burned out and you basically have an open curcuit. According to the wiring scematic, the elements in the back rest and the seat itself are connected so neither work now. I've tried removing the leather from my seats to figure out if I can just replace the elements, but the elements are molded into the foam in the seat. Your only solution may be to replace the entire seat or to buy a seat warmer. Most of theseheat warmers are rather cheaply made, though.

When i turn my rear defroster on in my 2002 impala my radio just cuts out and gets nothin but static. ive tried adjusting the antenna which way it faces and everytrhing but it continues to not work. any...

I believe there is an antenna coil located behind one of the 1/4 sail trim panels. I ran across this when I had to put a strut in my 1999 LeSabre. Back seat, sail trim and package shelf had to be removed to access upper strut mount. Mine was behind the left sail trim. Removing the sail trim I knocked the cover off so I asked my GM parts guy what it was. It was radio related. I believe the back defogger grid is the radio antenna. It was around $18.00. I would check that as my son's 2002 Impala rear defog is inop and that's one of the things I will be checking. Good luck.

Remove rear seat impala2007

To remove the rear seat, pull up on the front of the seat bottom, it should be hooked in place by spring type clips. After you get the front edge up, pull out the seat. This should expose the bolts/screws that hold the seat back in. Look below and there should be a couple of screws holding the seatback to the car body. Remove these and then you can pull the seat back out of the car.
