Question about Ford Laser
Sounds like the gears inside the transmision are starting to break apart inside, Not much u can do but things you can try....
cheapest: fluid and filter, and throw in a bottle of lucas oil for transmissions, this will settle this down some and the lucas oil help for smoother shift
more expensive: fluid flush at a shop, this will do the same thing as a fluid change, but it changes all of the fluid, where as a regular fluid change only gets about 3/4 new
most expensive, get a rebuild, ultimately you will have to replace this transmission in the future, you can try the other steps first and they may help for a while but once a transmission starts going downhill you can slow it down but you cant stop it
