After car sets overnight, when you first start it does it run rough and or does white smoke come out of the exhaust pipes? If not the check the oil for coolant in the oil. To best determine if the head gaaskets are the problem have your technician use the equipment to check for exhaust gases in the coolant.

SOURCE: losing coolant in my 2000 gmc sierra

These motors are famous for the intake manifolds leaking coolant.Have a pressure test put on the coolant system and look for a leak around the intake manifold corners.Check all four corners i've fixed many of these.

Seem to be losing coolant cant see leak now engine runs rough

Sounds like a leaking head gasket. The coolant could be leaking into a cylinder and is being burned out the exhaust.

have vehicle pressure tested. there has to be a leak or your leaking -burning your coolant thru combustion system.

I'm losing coolant, no visible leaks. I do have a squelling sound near the power steering pump?

Check the quality of your oil. Coolant maybe leaking internally due to worn out head gasket.

My vehicle is losing coolant with no signs of any leaks

Have you pressure-tested the cooling system? Has the engine been overheated? If there are no signs of external leaks, you may have an internal leak. You may have a cracked cylinder head or a blown head gasket. Check the engine oil on the dipstick- is it pure oil or does it have bubbles of moisture on it? Does it smell like coolant? The ticking may be a result of little lubrication of the engine oil due to the presence of coolant. It would also cause your power issue.

if there are no leaks for sure and you are consuming coolant, you make look into the possibilty of a blown headgasket. esp. if it has overheated in the past.
