Sounds like its the fuel pressure regulator.to check it have the jeep running and pull the vacume line off the regulator you will notice if the rpm changes,if nothing changes then its bad.also check the spark plugs too,if there is fuel on them then you know its overloading with fuel.

Check engine light? Check for vacuum leaks. Check MAF sensor.

General advice:After warming up track the problem:sparkplugs (even new can have the ceramic parts broken/cracked /wiring (after warming up the isolation get's soft, can loose spark power)/ignition coil(s) (gets hot, stop runnig),running reach, fuel pump/fuel pump relay.Best guess:fuel pump mallfunction (low pressure) related, fuel filter cloged/water in the fuel/fuel line cloged/chipped. Cheers, hope u figure it out,let the people know.

Testing the idle air control and MAF sensor might give you some idea. The othe thnig I would need to do is test the throttle position sensor, as that could also be tbe issue.

You say you replaced the fuel pump, what about the filter? If the filter is clogged it can cause this as can ignition. Since the car started for you after the fuel pump was changed the original problem was the fuel pump. But you should never change the pump without installing a new filter.

Might be fuel pump, or filter is pluged up, best to chg. filter and then do a fuel pressure test.

Fuel pump or filter. I have the same problem with my 95 and am in the process of changing out the fuel pump. Already did the filter (not the problem). Hope this helps!

Ran out of gas

Hi you need to change your fuel filter on your car as it is probably clogged with dirt as the car ran so low.
It is fitted under the car near the fuel tank.
Change your fuel filter first then check the fuel pump fuse as it may be blown as well if the pump was not able to pump fuel.
It should be a humming or hissing sound at the tank.
