Question about 1994 Chevrolet Beretta
The fuel pump is in the tank. Generally a fuel pump will not cause a car to intermitently shut off, it will only keep the vehicle from starting in its entirety. To check it, you would want to do a fuel pressure test, as well as a pressure-hold test to make sure the pump is functioning properly. It is not advised to install an external pump.
