This is a dust/splash shield. Keeps dirt and water off the engine. Car will work without it but will get dirty and there is some risk for splashing water on electrical parts. This could cause a temporary malfunction, but would usually be OK after drying out. The risk of a problem is really rare.

Open the trunk, push back the carpet in the area of the tail light. You will find 2 or 3 black plastic wing nuts. Take these nuts loose and remove the whole light assy. from its bay. Once out remove the wiring harness by twisting the plug 1/4 turn to access the bulbs.

P0134 Error

The front o2 sensor is located atop the exhaust manifold at the back of the engine. If you jack up the car and support it properly then get under the car you will see two small wiring harnesses coming out of a black plastic box in the center of the car next to the exhaust pipe. One of those wires leads to the rear o2 sensor, the other to the front o2 sensor that you want. You will need to unclip the wire in several places and unhook it from the connector under the black cover before you remove it from the manifold.
