This sounds like a plugged idle circuit or major vac leak.

Sounds like its starving for fuel, check your filter, then check your fuel pump is putting out enough pressure.

1987 Suzuki samari jeep starts fine when choke go off it dies,u got to keep foot on the gas to keep it running.

This is an old vehicle probably in need of some TLC. When was it last fully serviced? Get the carb stripped and cleaned. My guess there is dirt in the carb causing poor running.

Acts like the choke is stuck closed it won't stay started and runs ruff until engine warms up then its fine. What do i do?

Well the choke has an electric part that heats up and makes the choke open in a few minutes. As soon as the engine starts the choke should open about 25 percent by way of a vac pull-off.
You can take the air cleaner off and watch the choke while someone starts the engine cold. If the choke does not open after it starts, check the choke pull-off. You can also open the choke with a screwdriver to see if the engine clears up.

1987 jeep comanche with4.0 will crank but wont idle i have already changed tps and idle air control valve and checked fuel pump and changed fuel filter and checked vacume lines with no change what else...

have you checked the crank position sensor? when this baby goes the engine will start and run for one or two seconds then die like its out of gas.

Also the ignition switch may be suspect.

Have 1987 nissan sentra wagon 1.6 carb.engine the problem is an idle problem when I start in the morning or when its had time to cool down I depress the accelorator pedel to set the choke and high idle cam...

Check your Ignition timing before anything
check your plugs see what color they are
red or orange means carb is to lean , black
or oil means to rich then you can go from there
and set mixture screws on carb , let me no how you make out .
