Honda Pilot 2005 won't start dead starter ... How To Replace a Starter 2006 Honda Odyssey -EricTheCarGuy ...
1. If only one of the 3 brake lights isn't working, replace that lamp.
2. If all 3 brake lights aren't working, AND THE HORN ISN"T WORKING, see page 216 of the 2005 Honda Element Owners Manual. Fuse #7 in the underhood fuse box, labelled horn/stop is probably blown. (Cruise control is also probably out).
The fuel filter for a Honda 2005 Element is located inside the actual gas tank, it is part of the fuel pump. It is not something you can replace yourself.
COULD BE STOPPED UP FUEL FILTER.CHECK FUEL PRESSURE SHOULD BE 48 PSI. IF LOWER HONDA ADVISE TO REPLACE FUEL FILTER.YOU HAVE TO REMOVE FUEL PUMP THROUGH ACCESS PANEL FROM THE FLOOR.IF FUEL PRESSURE OKAY.REPLACE AIR FILTER.REPLACE SPARK PLUGS IF YOU HAVE OVER 110000 MILES ON THEM.IF SPARK PLUGS BEEN CHANGED ALREADY.IF ENGINE STILL WONT CRANK AND IDLE.CODE SCAN FOR A FAULTY IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE.
