I have a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan, the ESP/BAS light along with the traction control light and the malfunction indicator light came on, what could this mean?? Will it be expensive to fix??

Only way to tell is have a scan tool hooked up an check the DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Most auto part stores will check these for free . Could be a simple wiring problem ,or a sensor of some kind or a brake control module . Don't know with out knowing what codes are stored .

Caravan 2005,transmision problem not back shift, not upgrade, and cluster intermitance problem speedmeter, and light shifter position.

have it do a quick self test by holding the odometer reset button down then turning the key on once the key is on let go of the button you will see all of the gauges and lights in the dash do a sweep cycle then where the mileage read out is it will start showing any DTC's(trouble codes) write them down and contact the nearest dodge dealer and they can tell what the code(s) mean, hope this has helped

I get codes p0700 and p0740 on a dodge grand

P 0700 = EATX (Electronic Automatic Transmission Communication) Controller DTC Present. = An automatic transmission input DTC has been set in the transmission controller.
P 0740 = Torque Converter Clutch. No RPM Drop at Lockup. = Relationship between engine speed and vehicle speed indicates no torque converter clutch engagement.

Yes the Fluid and Filter Change should take care of this. However, Dodge, Chrysler, and Plymouth Minivans have had alot of Transmission problems over the years. Make sure that whomever changes the Transmission Fluid that they use exactly what is specified. Also, do not let any Mechanic talk you into a Superflush of the Transmission. This procedure does not change the Filter.

I have a 97 dodge caravan with a code 124555

It looks as though you have three fault number codes 12, 45, 55

12: Direct battery input to PCM was disconnected within the last 50 Key-On cycles.

As you'll see, there are two (2) exlinations for the number 45

45: EATX controller DTC present-an automatic transmission input DTC has been set in the transmission controller.

45: Park/Neutral switch failure-incorrect input state detected for the park/neutral switch.

The next set of code numbers are always good to see, means the computer can't find anything else wrong.

55: Completion of fault code display on Check Engine lamp.

I hope this helps you.

Thanks for letting, fix ya

95 dodge caravan 3.0 no spark

Check your Auto shutdown relay (ADS), if it's bad that will kill the fuel pump and ignition system too. If the fuel pump is bad or a short in the wire the (ADS) will trigger also. See if you could pull any DTC codes from the PCM. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.
