01 dodge dakota 3.9. no power to coil replaced engine control relay still no power can jump across relay get power but no start and get code for no rpm

If you're getting a code for no RPM, the PCM is not receiving a signal from the crankshaft position sensor. The PCM uses the signal from the crankshaft position sensor to fire the coil/spark plugs. Check the wiring to the crankshaft position sensor and check the sensor itself.

1997 dodge dakota how many volts does the crankshaft position sensor require

Code 320 is a problem with the tach signal which could be the crank or cam sensor.
Code 351 is a problem with the positive or negative circuit to the coil.
And code 1391 is for a problem with the ABS system which would not involve the engine running.
The sensors get a 5 volt reference from the computer and the return signal is what the computer "watches".
I would make sure you have battery voltage on the positive side of the coil and see if you have a ground reference from the computer.
You may need a shop manual to get the procedure to troubleshoot the ignition system.

above me is right it's a faulty crankshaft position sensor. Hard to get this out so it may be cheap enough to have them change it at the shop. Only a $32 part

Did you reset the computer after you replaced the crankshaft position sensor?

If you have,it may just be the connectors on the ECM.

If not,try this first.

To reset your engine codes:
Remove the negative terminal of your battery.
Turn your ignition key to START and hold it there for about 15 seconds.
Turn your ignition key to OFF and remove it.
Reconnect the negative terminal of your battery.
Test the vehicle.
