Question about 2004 Ford Taurus
Check you Inertia Fuel Shut Off Switch. It is an magnet and steel ball that voltage to your fuel pump passes through, in an accident the ball falls off the magnet and kills the voltage to the pump. On a sedan: Position back the RH trunk liner. On a Station wagon: Remove the rear quarter trim panel. You will see a 2 wire connector going into the switch. the switch has a red button on top of it. depress this button to reset the ball onto the magnets and restore power the pump. try starting it for a few minutes as it will take time for fuel pressure to build again (dont be alarmed if it does not start right away).
