Hello,

The heater blower motor is located behind the right side of the dashboard, behind the glove box.

If you need assistance with the replacement of the blower motor, don't hesitate to get back to me.

Thank you

UNDER THE PASSENGER SIDE OF DASH. ROUGHLY UNDER THE GLOVE BOX. REMOVE THE SILENCER PANEL, AND IT'S UP UNDER THERE, UNDER A COVER.

Location of oil drain plug

Bottom passenger side of oil pan. On the side of the pan. It is a metric bolt and the pan is aluminum, be careful not to strip plug when threading it back in.

Will the blower power modules from a 1997,1998,1999,work on a 1996 chrysler.

Don't see a LHS for 1998, just compared 96 and 97, 2 different parts although same engine. They must have modified the heater/ac system in 98. From what I can tell, the 96 has a bracket attached to the motor whereas the 97 doesn't . If you were to remove the old blower motor and bring it to the junkyard and check it against the 97 or newer blower motors, it's possible that its just a matter of retrofitting the bracket off your broken motor to the newer model. Hope this helps and Best of Luck to you!
