2006 f350 6.0 powerstroke diesel missing. help

there is no wastegate on a 6.0l turbo. its a variable geometry turbocharger and doesn't need it. i have never seen a turbocharger cause a misfire, the turbocharger is most likely not your problem. if you didn't clean the intake out when replacing the egr valve there is a really good chance that the egr is bad again. also, a bad egr cooler can cause repeat egr failure. also, fuel injector control module is a common cause for misfire

2003 ford f 250 6 l. diesel when the hearter is turned on it is only blowing cool air not hot , the termature is running halk way we put new termustate in it the heater cole is got really good flow ,...

6l is a tricky engine... there is a bypass in the heatercore so you will always have good flow no matter what...first thing i would do is go to napa and buy a block tester and test the cooling system for exhaust gasses. if exhaust gasses are found replace the head gaskets, the oil cooler, you can try to backflush the heatercore but replacement is recomended.ONLY use motocraft GOLD coolant. anything else will clog the oil cooler and you will have to do it all again. other than that only thing it could really be is a busted blend door motor or blend door(inside dash)

Where do you find the oil pressure sensor for 2006 F-250 superduty Diesel

The oil pressure sending unit on a 6.0L is found on the top of the engine just a little in front of the oil filter. Here is a picture but it might be hard to see. On the right hand side of the picture it says Oil Pressure Switch, try to follow that arrow. Sorry the picture is so blurry

2005 Ford F250 6.0L Diesel - ( 63,000.mi) Excessive water vapor in exhaust - is there any other possibility than a leaking head gasket - loosing coolant.

is the coolant level for sure dropping quickly?.i have heard of the oil coolers going bad on the 6.0 litre, but not a head gasket yet.Even at 63,000 miles.if you are for sure its eating coolant, try tightening some intake bolts,or crossover tube bolts.if it stops burning it which will take time, easier watching the coolant level than to wait for the exhaust to clear up,then consider replacing the intake gasket soon.

well the question is where did the coolant go. if it didnt leak out it must have went out the pipe. As you stated, white smoke, white smoke is coolant. You definately need to get this to the shop. You cannot drive it this way or further damage will occur.

My 2003 f-250 turbo not engaging

If you are getting zero boost, then your wastegate actuator may be jammed, causing the wastegate to be stuck open. That'll bleed all the boost off around the turbine, straight to the exhaust, and you'll never build any boost pressure.

2003 ford f350 6.0 diesel

The 6.0l diesel is noted for having oil and fuel enter the coolant system. If it is oil then the oil cooler has failed. The oil cooler is located the the center of the engine under the intake. On an F-series truck the oil cooler is below the oil filter housing. It can be identified by two things. The low oil pressure sensor and a small blue or orange hose is connected to the cooler. If it is fuel in the coolant then you have a cracked head or cracked injector sleeve.
