Question about 2006 Toyota Corolla

1 Answer

I need to replace the AC blower motor on a 2006 Toyota Corola. How difficult will that be. I'm assuming it's in the dash. Do I have to tear the dash apart and is it something that a novice can do?

2006 Honda Odyssey ac will not blow

If a/c does not blow, check the blower fuse and high speed relay. If all checks good, you may have a bad blower motor. Sometimes, hitting on top of the passenger side dash top, the blower motor may come on. If that works, you still will need to replace blower motor.
If a/c doesn't blow cold but the blower motor runs......... check the front a/c condenser located in front of radiator for a hole that was caused by a rock from the highway that could have punctured it. That's a common problem.

YES providing its under the passenger side dash then apart from vertigo where you lay upside down its not difficult ,if it has AC then yes but if its a europeon model with no AC then its a dash out job

How do I remove and replace Corolla 2006 blower motor?

Well the blower motor is underneath the dash on the passenger footwell, you have to remove the glove compartment to gainaccess to the blower, it ahas 3 or 4 bolts holding the motor, remove and replace with new unit, it is a good idea to replace the filter once the motor is removed.
