Hi!!

Yes, your Windstar has one. The SR2 stands for Supplemental Restraint 2 which means the air bag sensor in the passenger side.

95 ford windstar fuelmpump not pumping replaced it and still no start

Was the fuel pump new? When this much work is involved never use salvage parts. The fuel pump run function is interlocked with engine oil pressure sensor to indicate engine is running. On initial startup the fuel pump run is momentary to prime the injectors. Your problem is probably the oil pressure sensor or sending unit

I'm working on a friends 95 ford windstar lx check

Could be a head gasket issue, did all of the old plugs look similar in color?
I would try a leak down , or compression test, along with a coolant pressure test.

Where is the vss located on a 95 ford windstar. The speedometer went ouit and its shifting crazy.

The vehicle speed sensor is located on transaxle in behind the engine.
Tricky to get at and not an easy replacement.
While it is possible the sensor is bad, the more common issue with your Windstar is the speedometer itself.
You should have it properly diagnosed before replacing parts.
If the speedometer is the defect you will need to replace the instrument panel as an assembly.
Using parts from a recycler will often result with another bad speedometer as it is a very common problem.
Some aftermarket auto supply may be able to get you a rebuilt unit.
if not you may have to get it from Ford.

95 ford windstar does not shift from 2nd to 3rd unless you put into neutral then back to drive.

I would have the transmission range sensor checked at a dealer or other repair facility that has the proper scanner for checking this sensor

95 windstar down shifts too soon

I'm assuming it's automatic... Try unhooking the battery for 30 seconds, This will reset the computer for the van. Hook up and take for a drive, the computer will adjust to the settings of the driver.

Might not work, but it's cheap affordable and if it does work then you save money.
