Question about 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis
It seems to me youre being taken for a ride, if the problem started when you drove over the water puddle then that means that some water go into a key component somehow, perhaps the fuel tank itself or an electrical component. I would stay away from that shop and try to replace the fuel in your vehicle, if its possible for you. also try to take it to autozone if you can, they wil plug the scanner to your vehicle and tell you why the engine light is on for FREE!
