There are various stages of fuel injector problems. Basically the fuel is delived in the proper quantity and spray pattern to each cylinder. If either of these are incorrect or the air/fuel mixture is incorrect, engine runs rough to not at all, or somewhere in between.

Nothing major should happen, but you will feel loss of power on the engine and it may start to run really slughish, stall and poor fuel economy.

Catalytic converter may be clogged or just a dirty fuel filter maybe you can check fuel injecters by adding STP Fuel Injecter cleaner to your next fuel fill up..

Trying to get my truck to run

It's hard to say without more information but the first place I would start would be with the fuel/fuel delivery system. Could be bad gas, it does happen; clogged fuel line somewhere in the system, clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump. If it's fuel injected it could be dirty injectors. There are a couple of ways to clean them, a fuel additive or remove them for cleaning. The other area would be a sensor or module some where. Most service stations will do a diagnostic for around a hundred dollars. I take mine to the dealer and they do it for $75.

What make injectors spray to much gas on a 92 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme 3.1

Possibly clogged injectors. You can try using a fuel injector cleaner in the fuel such as Berrymans B-12 in the gas tank and see if that will clean them up. If that does not work, you will probably have to take the vehicle in to a mechanic and havve the fuel injection system cleaned. Have you changed the fuel system filter on schedule? That is one key to keeping the injectors clean, along with using a good grade of fuel. Some fuels use a higher percentage of methanol or ethanol, and that scours your fuel tank, allowing all the residue into the fuel line, usually clogging up the fuel filter. If the filter is bad, some may get through and also clog the injectors. Had that happen on an older Buick my daughter drove.

No acceleration when put in drive but idles smoothly in park. Why?

You didn't state the YEAR, MAKE, or MODEL of your car, so I have to answer generally:
  1. Fuel delivery problem (clogged fuel filter, defective fuel pressure regulator);
  2. Bad Throttle Position Sensor (if the vehicle is fuel-injected);
  3. Clogged metering rod (if the vehicle is carbureted);
  4. Vacuum leak;
  5. Clogged air filter or air intake obstruction;
  6. Contaminated fuel or water/moisture mixed in the fuel;
  7. Bad or misadjusted throttle linkage

Check your fuel filter for clogging and/or have fuel pump pressure checked..Am assuming it's fuel injection,if so have injectors checked/cleaned..if a carb system you may need a cleaning,carb rebuild or simply air/fuel adjustment.
Remote possibility of electrical issue,I've seen this happen as early signs of coil or coil pack going bad

2000 neon 249948 mile loosing fuel enco and power

for fuel....it could be a dirty or clogged air filter or emission system not working properly or fuel injection system not functioning properly...
for loss of power......worn camshaft lobes, faulty spark plug wires or coil, fuel injection system, air filter plugged, low compression or uneven cylinders....

I have a 1997 grand am 4 cyl. that won't fire. Battery is good. It turns over but it will not start. This happened for about 5 tries yesterday but it started after that 3 or 4 more times with no problem.

Fuel injection system clogged, Fuel pump clogged, Lack of constant fuel pressure. Check fuel pressure, check for spark, also check voltage (improper voltage will prevent running).

1997 honda civic 1.6 revving up and down

well there could be couple problems happened to mine only cuz the troddle position sensor wasn't working properly. so while idling the rpms would go up and down then sometime shut off eventually. but when you mean rev up and down you mean idling irregular? if so your timing belt and or pulley's worn fuel pump not delievering enuff fuel to fuel injection system, leaking egr valve, or even the air filter clogged.

Stalling

Mine was doing the sme thing-run fine then stall. restart in a few minutes and run fine for a while then shutdown. some times give codes o3oo, 1781 and 0700 but not always.
I installed a new crankshaft sensor and it solved the problem!
