Do not know about electrical mounts, however motor mounts that are broken can cause what you describe.

1999 jeep grand cherookee bucks and loses throttle when driving but when you stop and let it idle for a min runs fine then when you pull out it starts all over again

my scope will not reach your unstated engine.
nor can I do all the tests
find a second shop, get a second opinion.
there is no other way.

bucking has many causes.
1: spark bad. or that which creates spark CMP and CKP sensors.
even spark plugs, ever get a tuneup , like ever?
2: lost fueling, total.
3: ASD relay drop out. it sets codes but you just scan when it bucks. (many shops too lazy to do that and just guess)
4: loss of electric power. to EFI systems.
do head lamps dim at the buck or radio die. etc?????

most shops will check the mounts for you for free, and replacing the axles will be a normal thing for the amount of miles you have on your car,, ( 2 times) they don't always pop or click when they go bad,, they just GOOOO ,, motor mounts are around 100 bucks,, search prices as they vary a bunch ,, I would suggest you take your car to a transmission shop, and ask them for a normal service,, that way you get the trans serviced, and mention to them about the motor mounts, they will check them for you ,, again shop prices,, I got my trans fluids and filter changed for 39 dollars just last week , and they told me I had a bad muffler mount I was unaware of,, when its up on the rack its so much easier to detect problems,, and this was a cheap way for me to go, and I still got the tarans serviced

I have engine vibration in 2004 Trailblazer. Vibrates when at a stop. Some vibration when in nutrel, but really bad when put into drive. Had motor mounts replaced. Replaced the plugs and coil packs. ...

Good call on the engine mounts, this problem has had a lot of TB owners scratching their head. Hope you used genuine GM mounts, aftermarket mounts tend to crush too much sending you back with the same problem you started with. With aftermarket mounts, the engine will not be as high as needed, the rubber isn't as stiff. Seen this many times. The other thing to check is you tranny mounts. Engine and tranny mounts are usually the culprit with vibration while in gear and stopped with TB's. What type of plugs did you install? Have you cleaned your throttle body?

I have a 2002 chevy trail blazer and there is a rattle ,vibration coming from the head and they told me it could be the timing chain, miles on vehicule 117,000

Is it vibrating while in gear at a stop light? If this is it, it's your engine or tranny mounts. Use genuine GM mounts as aftermarkets tend to crush too much sending your engine back to the same height as the old ones. Timing chain? Doubtful it's the timing chain, our timing chains are virtually bullet proof and with 117k on it, your engine is just breaking in. Many of us TB owners have well over 200k on it and don't know anyone that has changed it.

Probably water in the electrics, was it pressure washed or steam cleaned?. Check all electrical junctions, sockets and unions for signs of dampness - including spark plugs. Anything obviously wet, dry the best you can with a cloth and treat everything else with a hair dryer. As the engine gets warm it will tend to dry most everything out anyway.

Hi, without driving it to experince the noise first hand i would tend to say its the rear diff. Other causes can be a broken engine or transmission mount. Good luck

The gear shift mounts to a rod. The rod has the c clap that the shifter clips into. Fords a joke and won't replace it. But u can get the replacement lever on ebay for around fifty bucks. Easy to replace on the bottum thiers a star bolt. Un do it the broke rod will slide out. Slide new one it tap ur pin out of the broken piece on your shifter. Slide it in the new one. And their u go. And to think ford wanted to replace whole colum. Part on ebay search under ford shifters. And u can't miss the replacement part

hi yes it would be adviseable to replace all three, if they are broken its a sure sign they need replacing, if not you could cause more damage to other parts like exhaust and gear linkage and maybe fuel lines ( these suffer from bad fuel lines as it is ) so to save a lot of bucks spend a few..hope this helps

Sounds like when they replaced the engine some of the clamps and mountings should have been replaced as well. The clutch should certainly have been replaced. First to second is almost always a big change under acceleration so it is probably an engine mounting that is making the noise as sounding like a big clunk, the connection between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust pipe is probably where the other noise is coming from. It is a spring loaded joint and does take a hammering when one of the mountings go bad.
