Question about 1995 Chrysler LeBaron
The waterpump is driven by the timing belt. If the marks where not lined up properly, these symptoms would present. To make this easy, look in the front area of the engine and look for anything, any vacuum hoses, electrical plugs, that may be dangling. The length will give you an indicator of where it goes if you find something. the only other thing that may cause this, would be a disconnected MAP sensor(located in the front, top of the engine, one vacuum line and 1 connector with about 3-4 wires). Look for anything wet around the distributor cap. If necessary, remove it and look for water or oil there. Let me know.
